Kenai Fjords National Park

The only sunny day of my trip was October 8th, my birthday.  I spent the day on a beautiful boat trip with Major Marine Tours.  Starting out in Seward, they navigated on the fully narrated tour through glacier carved fjords all the way out to the Pacific ocean. Most of the whales and puffins had already migrated out of the area but we saw plenty of sea lions and sea birds. It was chilly but it was a spectacular day!
