We are going back and I couldn't be more excited!
Last fall, I took a little impromptu personal retreat 2 Seward and I have prayed for the opportunity for to take Cindy there. We got a great deal on airfare and she finally agreed to go!
Retracing my steps, we fly into Anchorage and will be driving the Seward Highway, stopping in Alyeska and then spending the night in Seward out on Lowell point. The picture above is the road that will take us to the bed and breakfast at Lowell Point. It's a challenging little drive with cliffs on one side, including plenty of avalanche warnings and Resurrection Bay on the other side. You just never know when you might end up in the drink. It might be challenging but it's beautiful. I sure wouldn't want to drive it in the winter.
